Many people are unfamiliar with the term Reiki and often times confuse it with massage. And while it is not massage, it has very similar benefits of a massage. I have had people tell me that they feel like they are getting a massage while receiving a session, it's that relaxing! This gentle, holistic energy technique can help to reduce stress, promote relaxation and bring a feeling of peace and well-being to the receiver. This Japanese hands on (or off) technique is performed by practioners, who have received an energy attunement appropriate to their completed level of One, Two or Master. Reiki can be performed in person or at a distance, as all energy flows. Reiki sessions are very powerful but gentle and oftens work for weeks after the inital session. People and pets can benefit from Reiki, as well as trees, flowers, plants, the planet and the like.
I perform several different types of Reiki energy sessions which you can read more about to the side of, or below this text: an intuitive session, a distant session, a chakra clearing session and pet and human companion session. I blend Reiki and Seichim energy in the session, energy work, chakra/aura clearing and balancing, crystals and color if needed. I can also send Reiki to help clear homes of negative energy ( it usually only takes about 10-20 minutes to Reiki a house) and to situations such as upcoming Vet and Grooming visits, appointments, special events and the like. The sky is really the limit when it comes to sending Reiki! :)
Intuitive Reiki Energy Session -I utilize my intuition to find the areas on the body where Reiki energy is needed most. I may use crystals and or color in this session as well. I will also do energy work and may clear one or two chakras if needed, but an entire chakra/aura clearing can be incorporated into this session as well.
Distance Reiki session - This session is not done inperson, rather the energy is sent to you and/or your pet via long distance. All energy flows, so whether you are present or not, you will receive the energy! I utilize the intuitive method and the Reiki distance symbol with distance healing treatments and form what I like to call a Reiki bridge in my mind and send the energy out to you. Distance treatments do not necessarily require an appointment, and we can discuss your options when you call for this type of session.
Home Clearing & Situational - In this technique, Reiki is sent to help clear your home or office of negative energy or sent to any type of situation. The Home clearing session can be done either in person or distantly and usually takes around 10-20 minutes to complete. It does help for me to have a picture in the distant situation, as I feel we get a better result. In situations, Reiki can be sent distantly, back in the past and forward into the future. It can also be sent to pending trips to the dentist, doctor, vet or groomer, a special event, or a grand opening! These treatments are billed at $1.00 per minute.
Why We All Need Chakra Clearing
Everything in life is made up of energy, this includes our bodies! Over time, our bodies can start to accumulate thoughts, fears and excessive energy in both our aura ( the outside energy fields of the body) and our chakras. (the inside energy centers of the body) This accumulated energy can come from not only ourselves, but also from other people, things and places we have visited. If you are carrying around alot of negative energy in your energy fields and centers, you can feel very anger, depressed, heavy, confused, frustrated, overloaded and even fatigued. Sometimes this energy is not even yours, as you just happened to "collect it up" while you were out and about for the day. So ideally, daily chakra and aura clearing is preferably (both AM and PM) to get rid of this accumulated energy. I highly recommend the book Chakra Clearing by Doreen Virtue to help you get started with daily chakra clearing! You will be amazed at how much better you will feel. Reiki-Chakra Clearing Session: This session utilizes both Reiki and chakra clearing to give you a truly relaxing, clearing session. I perform Reiki hands off and then at the same time, clear and balance your chakras and aura, lighten your load of accumulated energy you no longer needed. This session can usually be completed in 15 - 20 minutes, but sometimes may take more time and can be done distantly.

Reiki for Pets and their Peoples Reiki sessions for pets are a little different then giving a human session. While most humans will lie down for their session, alot of the time the doggie, kitty or horse will not. Animals are very sensitive to Reiki and need to be asked whether they would like any energy that day. Also, many pets prefer hands off Reiki, with most sessions only lasting 15- 30 minutes or so. Distance Reiki works great for pets as the pracitioner can send the energy from afar. The sessions that I perform follow this protocol BUT I like for the pet parent to be present or near their pet while treatment is being received whether this is in person or sent distantly. If an animal is unreceptive that day, we can always try on another day. Amount and length of sessions needed are dependent on the animal and the results. Animal Reiki-Chakra Clearing Session - This session is the same techinque used in the human Reiki-Chakra clearing session, but in this case its performed on your animal companions chakras while doing Reiki, with their express permission. Since I do all Reiki energy sessions with both pets and their human animal companions, chakra clearing can be performed on you both during the session, but may take longer to complete.
